Bride & Groom (Couple) Decision Making Made Easy

It is not about what you decide on, but rather how you go about the wedding planning process! If...family is involved in your big day then you will need to steer clear of their opinions and listen for advice. Family will have good intentions but they will cloud you mind as you make the large and small decisions for your wedding. Some of the most helpful tools I found useful for wedding planning involve numerous of check list and to-do list.

With all the tools available to help you determine what you want I thought I create a decision assessment for Brides and Grooms.

Dr. Dr. Klapow on Oprah.com has offered a tools and advice for couple making decisions! I found this advice very informative and will be implementing his five "S.M.A.R.T" steps to collective decision-making:

1. SET
2. MONITOR
3. ARRANGE
4. RECRUIT
5. TREAT

When considering the next bazillion options for your wedding you both should make a personal assessment asking these questions:

1. Is it something you both will cherish and remember?
2. Is it economically feasible?
3. Does it fit within the budget?
4. Have you thought the particular option more than three times and have at least given it    a week of time to think it over.
5. Do the pros out weigh the cons? (What are the pros and cons)
6. Does it sociology and spiritual represent you both?
7. Is it practicable?
8. What are the draw backs ( cons )?
9. What are the better alternatives?
10. If this decision does not fall through what is the back up plan?

Celebrate Before the Planning

Congratulations on your engagement! So now what do you do? You can always start with a stressful list of things to do and a tight budget. The sudden bombardment of plans can suck the joy and life out of you easily. It did for me and so one good solution for me and for you is a mini three day vacation.

For one you will need to take a mini vacation with your fiancĂ© before you start major wedding planning. You and your fiancĂ© need to enjoy some time together before the walls start caving In.

I encourage going somewhere that is easily accessible like Las Vegas (basically anywhere where it is sunny and warm).  The most affordable places to visit have major airports and multiple airlines at an large airpot.

Below are a list of perfect destinations for a mini vacation but I highly recommend Las Vegas:

1. Gulf Shores, Alabama
There is an local Art Market, food, Casino and plenty of white sand and blue water to enjoy!

2. Las Vegas, Nevada
There is something for everyone at Las Vegas! Our visit to Las Vegas was a fun filled adventure! We saw the stratosphere, Michele Jackson One (Circus Du Sole), The Variety Show, The Prince Show and the Le Reve Dream Show and visited the original Las Vegas strip. There were so many fun and cool  attractions for everyone in Las Vegas.

3. Ocean City, Maryland
Ocean city is the perfect place to lounge and enjoy the beach life.  It is very laid back out in Ocean City Maryland.

4. Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Ocean City is not like Ocean City because it is much further from major cities and large towns.  It is much more quiet laid back and calm than Ocean City.

5. Washington, D.C.
The best time to visit Washington D.C. is in the spring during the beautiful Cherry Blossom Festival!  I would describe it as a nice mix of fun, flowers, cool, warm and sun!   The Cherry Blossom Festival was said to start on March the 20th but I suspect that the flowers will actually bloom later since of the unusual cool weather Washington, D.C. has been experiencing lately.

Have you booked and planned a trip? If so let me know about it and tell me how it went!
